Precautions We’re Taking Against COVID-19

How Yochim Plumbing Services Inc. Is Keeping Customers Safe

Our team here at Yochim Plumbing Services Inc. understands how stressful the current situation can be. The presence of COVID-19, along with the measures that have been necessary to try to combat it, have created a climate of uncertainty and instability that can be difficult to cope with. This is why it is so important to us that our customers know that we are still going to be there for them, even throughout this confusing time. We will be implementing all recommended precautions to keep our customers and employees safe so that we can continue to offer the necessary plumbing services for which we are known. Our technicians are proud to be a part of this community, and we are committed to helping keep it running as smoothly as possible.

Safety Measures Our Team Is Taking

In keeping with the recommendations handed down by groups such as the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, we have established several new service protocols to keep everyone safe.

These measures include:

  • Use of protective coverings and equipment: Our technicians will employ shoe coverings, drop cloths, masks, and gloves to ensure that their work area in your home remains protected

  • Social distancing: Both in our office and in your home, we will maintain the recommended six feet of distance from others at all times

  • Frequent sanitization: All technicians will carry hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes to ensure that all commonly-used surfaces in the office, in our vehicles, and in your home are regularly cleaned and sanitized

  • Employee care: Any employee feeling ill, regardless of whether or not their symptoms are related to COVID-19, are told to stay home and must be given a clean bill of health from a physician before they can return to work

What You Can Do to Help

As we are all learning, teamwork is the key to getting everyone through this as quickly as possible.

A few things that you can do to help protect yourself, your family, and your technicians include:

  • Limiting the number of people who are around while the service is carried out

  • Maintaining six feet of distance

  • Cleaning and sanitizing the work area, focusing on commonly-used surfaces such as light switches and doorknobs

  • Alerting us if anyone on the property is sick so we can take even more stringent precautions

  • Employing protective equipment such as gloves and masks while the technician is working

  • Being vigilant in your handwashing and other hygiene practices
